NU WCP WRITING TALKS
INTRODUCTION
NU Writing Talks is a symposium hosted by The Writing Center Program at Nazarbayev University dedicated to all aspects of academic writing and open to all perspectives on the teaching and learning of writing in English for academic and research purposes in an international context.
The aim of these talks is to share experience and resources to support a wide range of learning outcomes and activities, across disciplines and institutions.
The inaugural edition of NU Writing Talks was held exclusively online, in Spring 2021 over four consecutive weekends in April. Each session had a 90-minute webinar with speakers from the Writing Center and other disciplines, who discussed their achievements and challenges in teaching writing for academic and research purposes.
